Different levels of quality and engineering characterize the trade show industry. Factors to consider when purchasing a display relate to durability, sturdiness, ease of use, final fit and finish.

Frames

The major manufactures such as Nomadic Instand, and Abex Display Systems use round aluminum frame scissors with X shaped diagonals that enable the frame to distribute weight evenly throughout the wall and reduce the number of stress points with well engineered connection methods. Connection points for the actual frame components are consistent among the major manufactures. Over time, the manner in which the frame components themselves function makes a difference in longevity and consistent good looks. Displays on the Net brand trade show display systems are engineered and in many cases patented for long term durability.

Other systems such as Nimlok and Edge Portable Displays use a rectangular extruded aluminum frame, which screws to plastic junction hub. These systems are deeper than standard, which makes them very sturdy but the added depth forces the round end panels to be as wide as the front panels. Instead of extending the ends of the pop up display at the industry standard 6”, they extend almost 12”, all of, which is not appropriate for graphics. Combined with the narrower front panels, the lower height and reduced usable graphic area on the back wall is compromised.

The Skyline Mirage pop up is now available in round aluminum tubes, replacing the composite fiberglass frame, which had reinforcing locking spacer bars throughout the frame from bottom to top.

Channel Bars/Magnet Rails

Styles vary between Trade Show Display manufactures. The identical metal channel bars that slide onto the frame junction hubs of Displays On The Net STANDARD POP UP DISPLAY SYSTEM follow the original patented design which all pop ups are based on. The SUPER POP UP DISPLAY SYSTEM uses a patented hinged folding channel bar with reverse polarity magnets, which attract the magnets on the back of the fabric panel.

Shipping Cases

Displays on the Net STANDARD shipping case was one of the firsts in the trade show display industry to be designed specifically for maximum compact portability, contoured to create an attractive. The exceptionally well designed shipping case was designed for compartmentalized packing which separates hardware from panels with plenty of room for the unique die cut foam light packing and graphics, which in most cases roll up inside the fabric panels, with room to spare.

Trade Show Pop Up Display brands can often be distinguished by the color of the case. In addition the to importance of quality Industrial Design for the frame itself, the size and design of the case makes a difference which is realized over time after a few uses. Systems that utilize two separate shipping cases are more difficult to transport onto the trade show floor unless the connection method is significant and strong. Systems such as Nimlok, Edge Displays use larger shipping cases, which while sturdy are a bit bulkier to move around.

5 Lighting Options Including: Custom Halogen Wall Washer Lights

Displays on the Net brand lights offer unique features. The 200-watt halogen lights were specially designed to wash the pop up display wall using a round reflector inside. The well-designed lampshade was designed to unobtrusively mount to the top of the channel bars, with a portion in back of the shade that remains cool to the touch for adjustment on any graphic layout. The fixture itself was designed to fit snug in the die cut foam padding in the shipping case, essentially eliminating damage in shipping. Made for this system, there are no trade offs in the look and functionality common to off brands that use lights made by other companies.

Backlit logo headers

Backlit logo banner signs also known as graphic logo headers, sold on the Displays on the Net SUPER POP UP SYSTEM offer two lighting formats. The system comes with 6 standard 75-watt incandescent lights, standard in the industry, or color corrected fluorescent bulbs that provide exceptional white light that illuminates the high quality graphics , which often include photographic images that Displays on the Net is known for. Table Top Portable Trade Show Exhibit Displays

Our full height Table Top Booth displays are perfect for smaller hotel conventions. At 66″ tall they are a full 8′ tall when placed on the standard 30′ tall table provided by the show. Trade Show Booths this size let you compete with larger exhibits! Shipping weight is about 40 lbs. in their own wheeled case.

Smaller recruitment displays ranging from 24″ tall to 47″ tall are available in a folding panel format. Table Top Trade Show Displays work well as sales presenters.
